How can we help?
Answers to the most common questions about iDealsHunt.
How does iDealsHunt find deals?
Our scanning agent runs every 6 hours, pulling fresh listings from sources like Slickdeals, Reddit deal communities, BensBargains, and Woot. Each deal is scored on discount depth, brand quality, and deal clarity before it appears in the feed.
What is the AI Value Score?
The AI Value Score (0–100) reflects how good a deal actually is. It factors in the discount percentage, the brand's reputation, and how clearly the deal is presented. Scores below 40 are filtered out.
What does the Retailer Trust Grade mean?
The A/B/C/D grade reflects how trustworthy the retailer is. A = major trusted retailer (Amazon, Walmart, Target). B = reputable source (Slickdeals, Newegg). C = verify before buying (Reddit, unknown sellers).
What does 'Buy now' vs 'Wait' mean?
Our timing recommendation is based on the deal score and discount percentage. 'Buy now' means the deal is genuinely strong and likely won't last. 'Wait' means the value isn't compelling enough yet.
How do I save deals to My Vault?
Click the bookmark icon on any deal card. You'll be prompted to sign in with your email — we send a magic link, no password needed. Saved deals are accessible from My Vault in the navigation.
How does Direct Hunt work?
Type what you're looking for in plain English. Our AI uses Claude with live web search to find real, current deals matching your description — usually in 10–20 seconds.
Does iDealsHunt earn commissions?
Yes, we participate in affiliate programmes including Amazon Associates. We earn a small commission on qualifying purchases at no cost to you. This never influences which deals get surfaced.
How often are deals updated?
Deals are scanned and refreshed automatically 4 times per day. Deals older than 48 hours are automatically retired from the feed.
